Schedule: Variable Full-Time
Second Shift: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
 Includes weekends, holidays, and variable hours as needed.

Position Summary:

As a Financial Counselor I, you will play a vital role in helping patients and their families navigate the financial aspects of their care. This includes providing clear explanations of billing processes, assisting with insurance verification, and creating a welcoming, informed experience during what can often be a stressful time.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education/Training:
    High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of Patient Financial Services Orientation program and required annual education.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    None required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years in a financial, business office, or customer service environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong typing skills.
    • At least 1 year of PC/Windows experience required.
