Job Summary

Under direct supervision, serves as an entry-level financial services professional who learns to use established financial services concepts, policies, and procedures to perform routine payroll and financial processing tasks. Works on assignments that are initially limited in scope and complexity, following standard practices and receiving regular guidance and review. Apply organizational policies and defined procedures to review payroll and timekeeping data for accuracy, perform data entry, basic reconciliations, and routine error resolution, escalating non-standard or complex issues to higher-level analysts. Responds to routine customer and departmental inquiries related to payroll and timekeeping systems and refers complex matters for additional review. Supports payroll operations with attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to collective bargaining agreements and applicable regulatory and policy requirements. Utilizes multiple systems and platforms, including PeopleSoft and related applications, to complete assigned tasks. Works cooperatively as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, clear communication, and flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and operational needs. Shares responsibility for coverage during high-volume periods, provides reliable customer service, and contributes to departmental knowledge-sharing. Participates in training and development activities to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for increasingly independent work. Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned.
