Position Overview:
Abraham Gutierrez State Farm is looking for a motivated, relationship-focused Financial Services Representative to help customers protect their families, plan for the future, and better understand their financial options.
This is a consultative sales position focused primarily on life insurance, health products, retirement planning, and financial services. The ideal candidate enjoys having meaningful financial conversations, identifying customer needs, and helping clients understand solutions that support both their current protection needs and long-term financial goals.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has experience in insurance or financial services, or for a strong sales professional who wants to build a long-term career specializing in Life, Health, and Financial Products.
Responsibilities:- Conduct needs-based conversations and financial reviews with customers.
- Identify gaps in Life and Health insurance protection and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Educate customers on available financial products and long-term planning options.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, and follow up with prospective and existing customers.
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships through regular reviews and ongoing communication.
- Work with the agent to achieve Life, Health, and financial-services production goals.
- Maintain accurate customer records and follow all applicable insurance and financial-services regulations.
- Continue developing knowledge of retirement, investment, and financial-planning products.
- Obtain additional securities licensing as required for investment-related responsibilities.
Ideal Candidate:Abraham is looking for someone who is motivated, professional, trustworthy, and comfortable discussing financial needs with customers. This person should be sales-minded without being overly transactional; they should be able to listen, identify what a customer is trying to accomplish, and explain financial concepts in a way that is easy to understand.
Strong candidates will have:- Life/Health insurance or financial-services experience preferred.
- Life/Health insurance licensing preferred, or willingness to obtain required licensing.
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain financial concepts clearly and confidently.
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage a pipeline and follow-up independently.
- A track record of meeting sales or production goals is strongly preferred.
- Interest in obtaining applicable securities licenses and expanding into investment/retirement planning.
- Bilingual English/Spanish ability is a strong plus.
