Position Summary
The Framing Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wood and metal framing for residential and commercial construction projects. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to producing quality work while maintaining a safe job site.
Construct wall, floor, and roof framing according to plans and specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings.
Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials with precision.
Install windows, doors, headers, beams, and structural components.
Ensure framing is level, plumb, and square.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to meet project schedules.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
Identify and report job site issues that could impact quality or schedule.

Previous framing carpentry experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
Strong knowledge of framing techniques, building materials, and construction methods.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Experience with both residential and commercial framing.
Knowledge of local building codes.
Forklift, boom lift, or telehandler experience is a plus.
