Finished Fuel Logistics Specialist

SUMMARY: The Finished Fuel Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing finished fuel transportation activities, balancing inventory across terminals, coordinating customer shipment schedules and ensuring fulfillment of commercial commitments. This role serves as a liaison between customers, carriers, terminals and production facilities to ensure safe and cost-effective transportation execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.  Other duties may be assigned at management's discretion.

• Coordinate and execute finished fuel movements to customers, terminals and third-party facilities.
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly shipment schedules that support business objectives.
• Coordinate terminal replenishment requirements and product allocations to support forecasted demand and contractual obligations.
• Monitor shipment execution and proactively address delays, service interruptions, or schedule conflicts.
• Coordinate railcar activity, nominations, and routing with the rail logistics team.
• Maintain accurate shipment, contract, and transportation data within RightAngle and other business systems.
• Manage distribution of BOLs, COAs, and verify invoices associated with transportation providers, terminals, and logistics service providers.
• Manage customer delivery schedules and serve as the primary operational contact for transportation execution issues, ensuring proactive communication and delivery expectations are consistently met
• Support carrier performance management initiatives and identify transportation cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and reporting related to inventory management, transportation execution, and contract performance.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in all matters, ensuring timely response, resolution, and follow-through on responsibilities, issues, and team needs.

• Bachelor''s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, rail operations, or trucking
• Experience using ERP or transportation management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
• Proficiency with ERP, forecasting, data analytics tools, and business intelligence systems.
• Experience coordinating transportation through terminals, transload facilities and third-party logistics providers preferred
• Knowledge of customer order fulfillment processes, terminal operations coordination and scheduling preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position is primarily office-based and requires the ability to perform work while seated for extended periods. The role involves frequent use of a computer, including prolonged viewing of a monitor and continuous typing on a keyboard. Occasional walking within the office and light handling of documents or office supplies (under 15 lbs) may be required. The employee must have adequate visual acuity for reading and data entry and the ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Employees must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) for their work areas.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work environment is in an office setting. Noise level varies from low to moderate levels.

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, working hours to be determined. Occasionally extended hours or changes in schedule will be required as special circumstances arise.
