Fire Alarm Technician/Installer

Along the way Quick Response has grown to become the largest provider of fire protection systems in the state of New Jersey providing fire protection services to all industries and property types.Due to continued growth we are looking for a Fire Alarm TechnicianInstaller to join our team in Freehold NJ. In this role you will be responsible for the installation maintenance troubleshooting and inspection of fire alarm systems to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role involves working closely with various types of fire safety equipment interpreting technical manuals and ensuring that systems function correctly to protect lives and property.ResponsibilitiesFollow blueprints for the installation of fire alarm systemsLead others to ensure work is performed correctlyWork in a team environment and complete tasks in a timely mannerCommunicate with clients in a professional mannerTrouble shooting and repairing installed systems. Including panel repairreprogram device replacementrepair resolving circuit troubles and system testingComplete and process all necessary paperwork for installations and service calls via tabletOn call rotation is requiredQualifications3 to 5 years of experience preferred with demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.Knowledge of various fire alarm systemsExperience programing fire alarm systemsAbility to work flexible hours including weekends OT PAY when applicable to meet customer requirementsAbility to adhere to implement and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.Demonstrate a high level of customer serviceExperience with hand tools and multi-meter usageAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsCapable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.Capable of working overhead on a ladderSelf-starter that can work with little to no supervisionStrong organizational skills positive attitude and an ability to learn quicklyAs part of the DU Family of Companies we believe that investing and empowering our employees as leaders develops an organization that delivers innovative solutions and services that create a superior customer experience.
