Summary
Woodbury Public Safety sponsors Police and Fire Explorer Posts. Fire exploring is a hands-on, vocation based program of Learning for Life, open to women and men ages 14-20, interested in a career field in fire or emergency medical services.
The program provides young adults a personal awareness of fire and emergency medical services through training, practical experiences, competition and other activities. Additionally, the program promotes personal growth through character development, physical fitness, good citizenship and patriotism.
Woodbury Fire Explorers are youth-led and supported by adult advisors that teach important life and career skills to young people from all backgrounds through immersive career experiences and mentorship. We equip young people with character, leadership and life skills that can be used both today and in their future careers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Between the ages of 14-20 years of age
