Chesapeake Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. You'll play a hands-on role installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems that help protect people and buildings every day.
️ What You'll Do
Install pipe, fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers according to plans and applicable codes.
Fabricate and assemble piping and sprinkler systems.
Complete required weekly paperwork and daily progress reports.
Communicate with designers regarding design changes and material shortages.
Produce accurate red-line drawings for the design team.
Communicate project and schedule changes with the Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
Attend project and coordination meetings as needed.
Immediately report water damage, injuries, accidents, or other incidents.
Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED.
3-5 years of related experience and/or training.
Basic computer and email skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work overtime when needed.
Clean MVR required.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
