Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Chesapeake Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. You'll play a key role in installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems that help protect people and buildings every day.

️ What You'll Do

• Install pipe, fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers according to plans and applicable codes.
• Fabricate and assemble piping and sprinkler systems.
• Complete required weekly paperwork, daily progress reports, and job documentation.
• Communicate with designers regarding design changes and material shortages.
• Create red-line drawings and keep project documentation accurate.
• Communicate project and schedule changes with the Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Attend project and coordination meetings as needed.
• Immediately report water damage, injuries, accidents, or other incidents.
• Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• High school diploma/GED.
• 3-5 years of related experience and/or training.
• Basic computer and email skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screen.
