We are expanding our capabilities in Kennesaw to help bridge the coverage between our Georgia offices and establish a full-service sprinkler department in the market. Position Summary

Eagle Fire is seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Sprinkler Service Inspector to join our growing team in Kennesaw, GA.

This position is ideal for a well-rounded fire sprinkler professional who can perform inspections while also supporting service work and small construction or upfit projects. The immediate priority will be completing scheduled sprinkler inspections throughout the market. As inspection needs are addressed, this team member will transition into service calls, deficiency repairs, and small projects as needed.

Because Eagle Fire is building a full-service sprinkler department in Kennesaw, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to the department’s growth, strengthen relationships with local customers, and help expand our service capabilities across the region.

The ideal candidate will offer:

• A strong combination of fire sprinkler inspection, service, repair, and installation experience

• At least two years of directly related experience, with five or more years strongly preferred

• NICET certification preferred, but not required

• Backflow certification or license preferred

• Previous experience as a sprinkler technician, inspector, journeyman, or foreman preferred

• The flexibility to travel to customer facilities and construction sites throughout the assigned market

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough routine inspections of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable NFPA standards, local codes, customer requirements, and Company procedures

• Complete inspection documentation accurately and communicate identified deficiencies or recommended repairs

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and corrective work resulting from service calls or inspection findings

• Support small construction, renovation, and upfit projects as assigned

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and construction documents

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and Company quality and safety standards

• Identify and communicate material shortages, field changes, equipment concerns, and installation issues to supervisors in a timely manner

• Coordinate work to minimize disruption to customer operations and project schedules

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe customer and job sites

• Accurately document completed work, materials used, inspection results, and project updates

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, and other Eagle Fire team members

• Assist in supporting and expanding Eagle Fire’s sprinkler service capabilities within the Kennesaw and greater Georgia markets

• Participate in continuing education, licensing, and certification training as required

• Follow all Company safety policies and immediately report or address unsafe conditions and practices

• Maintain a professional appearance and a positive, customer-focused attitude

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum of two years of experience in fire sprinkler inspection, service, installation, or related fire protection work required; five or more years preferred

• Equivalent combinations of education, training, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered

• Working knowledge of applicable NFPA standards, fire codes, and fire protection industry practices

• Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair fire sprinkler systems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate trade-related tools and equipment

• Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and customer service skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently, manage priorities, and respond to changing field needs

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• NICET certification preferred

• Backflow certification or license preferred

• Journeyman, foreman, technician, or inspection experience preferred

• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to lift and move materials or equipment weighing up to 70 pounds

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and climb for extended periods

• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces

• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, and physically demanding environments

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to travel throughout the assigned market and stay overnight when required

• Ability to safely operate Company vehicles, hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and industry-specific equipment
