    Description

    Tesla is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems across manufacturing and facility operations. The ideal candidate has experience with water-based fire protection systems and is committed to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

    • Inspect, test, maintain, and repair wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems
    • Perform quarterly, semi-annual, and annual inspections in accordance with NFPA 25 standards
    • Troubleshoot and repair sprinkler system deficiencies, valves, piping, and associated components
    • Support fire system impairments, shutdowns, and restoration activities
    • Read and interpret fire protection drawings, blueprints, and system schematics
    • Maintain accurate inspection, testing, and maintenance documentation
    • Partner with internal teams, contractors, and AHJs to ensure code compliance and system reliability
    • 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, inspection, testing, or service
    • Experience with wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge systems
    • Working knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 standards
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and fire protection plans
    • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
    • Texas RME-I/RME-G license or ability to obtain preferred
