Living our motto we protect what you value mostBeach Lake Sprinkler Fire Protection Servicesoffers a challenging and rewarding work environment for those passionate about keeping communities safe.We are currently seeking aFire System InspectorinHonesdale PAto perform inspection testing and maintenance of fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems in commercial industrial and residential buildings ensuring compliance with local state and federal regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesInspection and TestingConduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems to verify proper operation.Identify deficiencies and ensure systems meet applicable codes and standards.Maintenance and RepairsPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on fire protection systems.Replace or repair defective components as needed.Code ComplianceEnsure all systems comply with local state and federal regulations as well as NFPA and NEC standards.Customer ServiceCommunicate professionally with customers regarding system status deficiencies and recommended corrective actions.Safety ProtocolsFollow all safety procedures and protocols while performing inspections and repairs.RecordkeepingMaintain accurate records of inspections tests maintenance and repairs in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent technical certifications or a degree is a plus.3-5 years of experience inspecting testing and maintaining fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.Strong knowledge of NFPA NEC and local codes.NICET certification Fire Alarm andor Water-Based Systems ITM highly preferred.Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical manuals.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.Excellent time management and organizational abilities.Strong communication and customer service skills.Proficient with testing tools and basic computer applications.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work at heights in confined spaces and in varying conditions.Manual dexterity required.Travel to job sites commercial industrial and residential.Outdoor work with exposure to high noise extreme temperatures and dusty environments.The wage for this role is20 to 30 per hour based on experience and qualifications.As part of the DU Family of Companies we believe that empowering and investing in our employees as leaders develops an organization that delivers innovative solutions and services that create a superior customer experience.
