Peninsula Guns is looking for an experienced, professional, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team.
We are an established Bay Area firearms retailer serving customers ranging from first-time firearm owners to experienced
enthusiasts and law enforcement professionals. We are looking for someone who can provide knowledgeable, friendly
service while representing our business professionally.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in firearms, sporting goods, outdoor products, automotive, luxury retail, or
another customer-focused sales environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable approaching customers, identifying their needs, and making appropriate product recommendations
• Knowledge of firearms, ammunition, optics, and accessories is strongly preferred
• Ability and willingness to learn California firearm laws, regulations, and store procedures
• Professional appearance and demeanor; dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
• Able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Weekend availability is preferred
LAW ENFORCEMENT & MILITARYCurrent or former law enforcement and military personnel are strongly encouraged to apply. Relevant professional
firearms experience is highly valued.
RESPONSIBILITIES• Assist customers with firearm, ammunition, optic, accessory, and related product purchases
• Build customer relationships and provide a high level of service
• Explain product features and help customers select products appropriate for their needs
• Maintain familiarity with current products and industry trends
• Follow all federal, state, and store requirements regarding firearm transactions
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, and maintaining a clean, professional sales floor
• Contribute to sales goals and the overall success of the store
