About the Position Firefighters are responsible for protecting lives and property through fire suppression, rescue operations, emergency medical services, fire prevention, and other emergency response activities. In addition to responding to emergencies, firefighters participate in regular training, equipment inspections, and the maintenance of apparatus, equipment, and fire stations. This position requires the ability to work under emergency conditions, perform physically demanding duties, and work as part of a team. Compensation Greater Naples Fire Rescue District offers competitive compensation and opportunities for additional earnings. Annual Base Salary: $62,611.27 Additional compensation opportunities include:
