We are hiring an Firewall Administrator- Lead to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.Job Description and ResponsibilitiesProvides overall supervision and management of contractor personnel, including project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. Ensures work is completed efficiently and that accurate, timely reports are submitted. Resolves operational issues, manages personnel and resources, and monitors performance in accordance with government direction and requirements. Works under general supervision to develop product requirements from initial planning through completion and prepares specifications for simple to moderately complex projects. Coordinates with the Vendor Project Manager, Contracting Officer's Technical Representatives (COTRs), and government user representatives to address technical matters, develop effective solutions, and ensure user satisfaction.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)Knowledge of project management principles to plan, organize, schedule, and oversee contractor activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet established requirements.Ability to supervise contractor personnel by assigning tasks, managing resources, resolving operational issues, and monitoring employee performance.Skill in resource allocation and workload management to maximize productivity, maintain schedules, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of project activities.Ability to develop and document product requirements and technical specifications for projects ranging from simple to moderately complex.Skill in coordinating with project managers, Contracting Officer's Technical Representatives (COTRs), and government stakeholders to communicate requirements, resolve technical issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives.Ability to monitor project performance and ensure compliance with government direction and requirements while maintaining quality standards and promoting customer satisfaction.Desired KSABe a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situationsCandidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customersMust have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervisionMinimum Training, Education, and CertificationsFive (5) years of relevant experience to include:Working knowledge of Firewall. Working knowledge and understanding of industry standard network environments to include firewall and security hardware/software. Working knowledge of Cybersecurity Best Practices.In depth knowledge of LAN and WAN operations.Knowledge of industry standard Incident Ticket Tracking systems for inputting incident tickets and creating work orders.Comprehensive knowledge of DOD and DLA security regulations, guidelines, and policies, to include, but not limited to, IA standards.Working knowledge of the installation, configuration, and day-to-day sustainment of network equipment, to include but not limited to firewalls and other network appliancesDOD 8570 baseline certification - IAT Level IIComputing Environment Certification: CCSA, CCSE, CCNA, CCNP - E, CCIE - EI, CCIE - EW, CCSM, Illumio ZTS Specialist, or Illumio ZTS ExpertMinimum ClearanceTop Secret Physical RequirementsRequired to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
