First-Party Insurance Coverage Attorney

My team is partnering confidentially with a well-regarded client seeking a First-Party Insurance Coverage Attorney in San Diego, CA. This is a strong opportunity for a professional looking for meaningful work and a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze first-party coverage issues and draft coverage opinions
• Conduct examinations under oath (EUOs) and coordinate with SIU teams
• Handle coverage litigation and related motion practice
• Advise carriers on claims handling and risk

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience (very senior candidates welcome)
• First-party coverage experience; in-house experience considered
• EUO or SIU experience strongly preferred
• Active bar license in good standing: California (required)
• Strong writing, analytical and client communication skills
