10-4 Logistics USA seeks full-time W2 Class A CDL flatbed drivers based in Lansing, MI to haul freight across all 48 contiguous states. These positions are suited for experienced flatbed drivers who prefer regional and over-the-road (OTR) schedules with consistent weekly home time.

  • Typical duties
    • Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
    • Perform flatbed load securement and freight protection, including tarping and use of straps, chains, and binders (approximately 40–50% of loads require tarping).
    • Handle shipments of steel and steel pipe, applying required securement practices and appropriate care during transit.
    • Haul regional and OTR flatbed freight with typical runs up to 2,000–2,500 miles.
    • Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip reports, and DVIRs; conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report maintenance needs.
    • Manage schedules to meet pickup and delivery commitments and maintain on-time performance.
    • Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch, customers, and team members.
  • Qualifications
    • Valid Class A CDL.
    • Minimum 1 year OTR driving experience and at least 6 months flatbed experience.
    • Experience hauling steel and steel pipe is required.
    • Demonstrated skill with straps, tarps, chains, and binders for securement.
    • Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
    • Professional communication skills.
