Position Summary:

Here’s what you’ll do: DescriptionThrough analysis of delivery network, find and execute shipments to meet current business objectives by improving asset (driver, tractor, trailer) utilization.  Ensure cost and margin is in line with company protocol.Responsible for Track and Trace of shipments, ensuring all parties are informed of any / all changes.  Ensure timely resolution as issues arise in the day to day execution of shipments.Timely preparation / inspection of all required documentation for delivery completion and financial reporting.

Requires strong negotiation skillsComplete all data entry timely and accurately in all systems as applicable.Travel Required:NoSkillsSpecialized Knowledge : Knowledge of transportation industry, wholesale grocery operations, for hire transportation, and procurementSpecial Skills : Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ExcelOther: : Strong leadership, relationship building, and analytical skills
