Fleet Diesel Diagnostics Mechanic

Core Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on tractors and trailers using JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows-based platforms
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance across the fleet
• Complete DOT inspections to FMCSA standards
• Meet the physical demands of the role: lift/pull 75+ lbs, extended standing/lying, and flexible reach

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Preferred: ability to obtain a Class B license
• Technical/advanced degree or 2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with diagnostic equipment and software (JPRO, OEM tools, multimeters, Windows)
• Documented problem-solving capability; strong teamwork and customer service orientation; effective oral/written communication
• Participation in an on-site evaluation with recommended training
