1st shift Flexible Packaging Support Associate #8843

**Location: **Delafield, WI 53018

Starting Wage:$19.00/hour

Shift:Mon - Fri (7:30am-3:30pm)

Duties:

The Pouch Support Associate is responsible for tasks that include:

• Moves and/or replaces pallets or large rolls between production, staging areas, and receiving
• Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift
• Operates powered industrial equipment, receive raw materials to place in inventory, and ship finished goods
• Delivers supplies to production lines and moves rolls between production and staging areas
• Cross trains on various pouch and roll stock equipment. This includes the slitting machine, roll coater or pouch converting line
• Performs roll changes, return to stock, prep job jackets, and assist operators with setup and cleanup
• Wraps, bands, labels, and packs finished products according to customer specifications
• Performs general housekeeping in production and warehouse areas; sweeps and maintains organization in the production area
• Assists in developing and maintaining the department’s Standard Operating Procedures
• Troubleshoots and problem-solves issues that arise
• Completes any required paperwork and/or documentation in an accurate manner

**Qualifications:

**

• High school diploma or general education degree
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude
• Proficient computer skills with the ability and desire to learn new systems and processes
• Strong math skills
• Detail-oriented with fine attention to detail
• Problem-solver with the ability to make independent decisions
