Float Medical Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and flexible Float Medical Assistant to support the medical staff and assist with daily patient flow. This position will work alongside all physicians on staff and provide support wherever needed. Work hours-7:45am- 4:30pm, close at 1:00pm on Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with bringing patients back and preparing them for appointments
• Obtain and document patient vital signs
• Prepare, clean, and turnover exam rooms between patients
• Assist physicians with patients and procedures as needed
• Help maintain an organized and efficient patient flow
• Provide general clinical support to the medical team
• Work with different physicians and adapt to changing daily needs

Qualifications:

• Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred
• Medical Assistant certification/license is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively with multiple physicians and staff members
• Willingness to assist wherever needed

Medical Assistant certification/license is optional.
