About the Role:
Parkland Children's Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Floater/Teacher Assistant to join our team in Parkland, FL! Responsibilities:

• Float between classrooms to provide support to lead teachers and maintain proper student-to-teacher ratios
• Assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities for early childhood learners
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and transitions
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding children's progress and needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and learning spaces

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a childcare, early childhood education, or classroom setting preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively across multiple classrooms and age groups
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
• Must meet Florida DCF childcare background screening requirements
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Patient, dependable, and passionate about working with young children
