Job Summary:
The JBS Pork team is seeking a Floating Accounting Clerk.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cross train and vacation fill in for Billing and Export Clerks (1,2,3 shift), livestock clerks (1.2 shift), and other accounting duties as assigned.
- Billing includes verifying orders, generating BOL, preparing trucking packets and filing invoices
- Exports include preparing all export documents
- Livestock includes auditing scale tickets, data entry and report preparation and disbursement
- Perform various other accounting duties as needed to ensure efficiency in the Accounting Department.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills
- Previous accounting and office experience preferred
- 10-key and computer skills required
- Communication skills - written and verbal including phone etiquette
- Good work history including attendance
- Team player among all shifts
Education, Experience, Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual (plus but not required)
- Previous accounting and office experience preferred
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The Applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Base Salary: $18.93/hr Min to $21.31/hr Mid
Hours:
- Floating 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift
- Some Saturday’s required
- Some Sundays on call
