Floor Installation & Construction Technician (Multi-Trade)

Job Description:

Seeking to hire a skilled and motivated Floor Installation & Construction Technician to join our team. While the primary role will be focused on flooring installation (LVP, Hard tile), the position is not limited to flooring only. Candidates should be open to performing a variety of construction-related trades such as demolition, drywall, painting, and general repairs when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain various flooring systems (tile, vinyl, etc.)
• Prepare and level subfloors and surfaces before installation
• Perform additional trades as required (drywall, painting, demolition, trim work, etc.)
• Safely operate tools, equipment, and materials
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and the Clean Air Act
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Work efficiently while meeting quality standards and deadlines
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Requirements:
• Previous experience in flooring installation (minimum 2-3 years preferred)
• Knowledge of multiple construction trades is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Physically able to lift, carry, and perform manual labor
• Skilled in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the workplace

Schedules:

• Full-time 40-hour week
• Monday–Friday (weekends & evenings are optional depending on projects)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines in busy and time sensitive environments
