You will start with 10 days PTO!Paid Holidays: Celebrate holidays with your loved ones while still getting paid, we have 9 holidays!Professional Development: We support your growth with opportunities for skill enhancement and career advancement.Accountabilities:* Install various types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, carpet, vinyl, and linoleum, according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.* Prepare subfloors, ensuring they are level, clean, and in good condition before installation.* Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas within properties.* Apply adhesives, nails, staples, or other installation methods as appropriate for each type of flooring.* Identify and assess flooring issues, such as damage, wear, or water intrusion.* Repair or replace damaged flooring materials to restore their integrity and appearance.* Perform regular maintenance tasks, including cleaning, polishing, and resealing, to extend the lifespan of the flooring.* Provide guidance on the durability, maintenance requirements, and cost-effectiveness of different flooring options.* Ensure that flooring installations adhere to safety standards and local building codes.* Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during installation.* Maintain accurate records of materials used, installation procedures, and repairs performed.* Report any significant issues or recommendations for property managers or owners.* Provide excellent customer service, addressing concerns and questions professionally.* Perform quality inspections of completed flooring installations to ensure they meet the desired standards.* Other functions as assigned by Unit Turn Tech Supervisor or Regional VP of Facilities.Critical Success Factors:* Passion - for the company's mission* Relationships- provides service with a smile, understands resident satisfaction* Quality and detail oriented* Problem Solver- Implements solutions and overcomes constraints* Self Starter- positive, optimist and willing to take initiative* Very organized - Quality and detail oriented* Goal Oriented - naturally motivated to reach goals* Physical requirements- able to lift up to 50 lb. constantlyKey Processes:Floor InstallationEducation, Training and QualificationsMinimum 2 years all types of floor installation experience is required.Proven experience in the operation of floor installation equipment and tools.Understanding of safety practices when operating equipment.Valid Driver's License is required to complete the essential functions of the position (completing floor installations at different Tzadik properties).Employee must have their own corresponding floor installation tools.Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms and stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
