Crown Uniform And Linen is hiring a Floor Lead for the Night Shift APPLY TODAY !!!Full Time Monday to Fridays.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervises staff in any area of production as directed by the Production ManagerHelp train new employeesAssist in implementing new procedures created by the Plant ManagerHold staff accountable for quality and production standardsPerform other duties as assignedEnsure line achieves all production goals Sets up and operates machinery following established procedures and policiesEnsures machinery operates efficiently and effectively to meet productivity standardsPerforms daily inspections before beginning operationsFollows all safety policies and proceduresManages required paperwork and recordsAttends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, MACHINES, AND WORK AIDSLaundry baskets and linen binsMaintenance tool roomCarts and conveyorsOverhead rail system and garment sorting systemAutomated soil sort system and automated polybag machinesJanitorial-type chemicals REQUIRED SKILLSGood communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers and staffGreat motivational and analytical skillsHighly dependable and professionalBasic computer skillsStrong attention to detail and interest in accuracyEnglish required, Cape Verdean Creole preferredEDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of supervisory experience PHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be capable of lifting 10-30 lbs frequentlyMust be able to stand most of the dayMust be able to stoop, turn, bend, reach, push, kneel and pullMust be able to wear protective gown and gloves if required It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
