PAY RATE: $17.00 - $19.00 / Hr

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday | 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM

PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly - Every Friday

Frantz is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Floor Technician to maintain floors and other assigned areas within a busy production environment. This position is responsible for operating professional floor care equipment, completing routine and deep cleaning tasks, and ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and presentable.

The ideal candidate will have experience with floor maintenance and be comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Floor Care

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and other floor maintenance equipment.
• Scrub, strip, wax, and burnish hard surface floors.
• Clean and maintain concrete, tile, and other industrial flooring surfaces.
• Conduct routine floor inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Perform spot cleaning and address spills promptly to maintain a safe work environment.

Plant Restrooms

• Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and fixtures.
• Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors.
• Refill paper products, soap, and other restroom supplies.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.

Ingot Restrooms & Shower Houses

• Clean and sanitize shower stalls, locker areas, sinks, and fixtures.
• Remove buildup and debris from high-use areas.
• Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors.
• Replenish hygiene and restroom supplies.

Break Rooms & Common Areas

• Clean and sanitize countertops, tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces.
• Clean interior and exterior surfaces of refrigerators, microwaves, coffee stations, and other appliances.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain flooring throughout common areas.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to work safely in an active manufacturing/production environment
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance required
• Previous janitorial experience preferred, but not required
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures and industrial conditions
• Must be comfortable working around production equipment and noise

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

While working in production areas, the following PPE is required:

• Hard Hat
• Safety Glasses
• Metatarsal Boots

All required PPE is provided by the company.
