Floor Technician - As Needed

Lakeview Village is a continuing care retirement community. We have an opening for a Floor Technician to work PRN.

Lakeview's Floor Technician is to maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, attractive manner in accordance with established procedures, and as directed in order to ensure the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and follow cleaning schedule/instructions from your supervisor.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as outlined for respective areas.
• Pick up and dispose of certain trash every morning and afternoon
• Dust-mop assigned areas
• Learn to operate FM20 buffer.
• Be responsible for room strip and waxing needs.
• Buff rooms as needed.
• Sweep, wet-mop and dining areas after meals.
• Be willing and able to learn how to strip and wax floors.
• Come in twice a year overnight to strip and waxing hallway floors
• Report all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc. to your supervisor.
• Assist with delivery of incoming shipping orders and supplies
• Maintain stock in each utility closet for housekeeping supplies
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Handles stress well, gets along with others in the workplace, maintains acceptable standards of conduct.
• Adheres to all safety regulations and requirements.
• Completes trainings as required by policy.
