Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Floor Technician to join our team in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and restoring various types of flooring to ensure a safe and attractive environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing.
• Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors safely and efficiently.
• Apply floor finishes, sealers, and strippers as needed to maintain floor appearance and durability.
• Inspect floors for damage or wear and report any issues to management.
• Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good working condition.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services preferred.
• Ability to operate floor care machinery and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and chemical handling.

Work Environment

This position involves working indoors and may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. The Floor Technician will work in various commercial or industrial settings and must adhere to all safety guidelines.
