Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Boston, hybrid schedule: in office 3 days a week.
Duration: Contract.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join a dynamic team in the finance sector. In this role, you will contribute to managing financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and leading revenue recognition technical accounting efforts.
Responsibilities
- Manage execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes in compliance with IFRS and GAM.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting for US entities, including high-quality documentation supporting month-end close reporting package submissions.
- Serve as revenue recognition technical accounting lead, researching and applying IFRS guidance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase team efficiency, such as increasing desktop automation.
- Lead a team of 2 to 4 direct reports, fostering accountability and collaboration within the US Accounting & Treasury team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong ERP system knowledge (Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- G2N revenue accounting experience, preferably in the pharma industry.
- Experience with Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services operating model.
