Christkindlmarkt Dublin is currently seeking Food & Beverage Booth Staff in Dublin, Ohio to join our collaborative and festive team! The Food & Beverage Booth Staff member provides friendly, efficient guest service while supporting food and beverage preparation, service, sales, cleanliness, and day-to-day booth operations during the 2026 Christkindlmarkt Dublin season.

Responsibilities:
- Welcomes guests in a friendly and professional manner and help create a warm, festive dining experience consistent with Christkindlmarkt Dublin.
- Takes and fulfills guest orders and serves food and beverage items accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with vendor procedures.
- Prepares food, beverages, treats, and other menu items as assigned by following established recipes, preparation instructions, portioning requirements, and applicable food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Answers guest questions about available menu items using information provided by the vendor and refers ingredients, allergies, dietary, or other questions to the appropriate supervisor when information cannot be confirmed.
- Processes customer purchases using the designated Point of Sale system and follows applicable procedures for card and other approved payment methods.
- Maintains a clean, sanitary, and orderly booth area, including work surfaces, utensils, equipment, serving areas, and guest-facing spaces, and follows applicable handwashing and hygiene procedures.
- Stocks and replenishes food, beverages, ingredients, packaging, utensils, and other supplies throughout each shift and promptly communicates low stock or supply needs to the appropriate supervisor or vendor representative.
- Supports opening and closing responsibilities, which may include setting up the booth, preparing service areas, organizing supplies, completing basic Point of Sale procedures, cleaning, and securing food & beverages, equipment, and supplies.
- Follows applicable Market, vendor, food safety, beverage safety, sanitation, customer service, and loss-prevention procedures and promptly reports guest concerns, incidents, hazards, or operational issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Works flexibly across multiple food and beverage booths and assists with operations at different booth locations as assigned to meet staffing needs and ensure efficient service throughout Christkindlmarkt Dublin.
Requirements:
- Previous food & beverage service, customer service, hospitality, concessions, or event experience is preferred but not required.
- Seasonal or holiday food & beverage service experience is a plus.
- Beverage booth prior alcohol training or certification preferred.
- Food booth ServSafe certification preferred.
- Must be available to work assigned shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays during Market season.
- Ability to learn and use a Point-of-Sale system, accurately complete basic transactions, and follow established cash-handling and payment procedures as applicable.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to assist guests courteously, answer questions using available information, and work effectively with customers, coworkers, vendors, and supervisors.
- Ability to follow vendor instructions and applicable food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures. Must be able to maintain a clean and orderly work area and handle food, beverages, utensils, and supplies responsibly.
- Must be dependable, team-oriented, adaptable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced seasonal environment.
- Any vendor-specific certification or qualification requirements will be communicated by the hiring vendor.
Physical Demands:
During Market season, the position requires prolonged periods of standing in a stationary position, up to 60% of the time, as well as frequent movement throughout the Market site and food & beverage booth areas. The individual must frequently move, transport, position, push, and/or otherwise handle materials and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds. The individual may be required to bend, reach, stoop, squat and perform repetitive hand and arm movements while preparing, serving, packaging, and handling food and beverages. This position may require assisting with booth setup and teardown, stocking supplies, cleaning work areas, and performing opening and closing responsibilities. The individual must also be able to safely operate, inspect, adjust, or assist with food & beverage preparation, serving, and related equipment as required.
Work Environment:
During Market season, the individual frequently works in and around food & beverage service booths and a winter outdoor market environment. The individual may be exposed to hot and cold temperatures, varying weather conditions, heat generated by cooking or warming equipment, steam, food & beverage odors, wet, icy, or slippery surfaces, moderate to elevated noise levels, and cleaning products. The role may require working around food & beverage preparation equipment, electrical equipment, hot surfaces, and other hazards associated with food & beverage service operations. The individual may frequently work outdoors during setup, operation, special events, and teardown activities. Night and weekend work is required during market season.
