At Midway Diner, every great dining experience depends on teamwork. We're looking for an energetic, dependable, and hospitality-driven FoodRunner to help deliver exceptional service to every guest.
As a Food Runner, you'll play a vital role in connecting the kitchen and front-of-house team by ensuring every meal is delivered accurately, efficiently, and with genuine hospitality. You'll be knowledgeable about our menu, communicate confidently with guests, and help keep service running smoothly during every shift.

What You'll Do
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct table, seat, and bar guest quickly and accurately.
- Double-check every order to ensure it is complete and delivered to the correct guest.
- Serve dishes confidently while providing accurate menu descriptions.
- Answer basic menu questions and assist guests with any additional needs.
- Communicate effectively with the Expo, kitchen, servers, and management to maintain smooth service.
- Support the Expo by stocking condiments, replenishing supplies, and assisting with food preparation needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient expo station.
- Assist with preparing and organizing takeout orders.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Support teammates wherever needed to create an exceptional guest experience.

- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and possibly holidays.
- Students are encouraged to apply! We're happy to work around school schedules and other commitments whenever possible.
- Ability to stand, squat, reach, and walk for extended periods and frequently lift and carry trays, plates, and other items weighing up to 30 pounds.
