What You'll Do
Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems to ensure food safety and quality standards are met
Accurately document inspection results, measurements, and data in FSQA systems and required logs
Identify and isolate non-conforming product and take appropriate corrective actions
Communicate findings and escalate food safety or quality concerns to leadership as needed
Interpret product specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
Support a strong food safety culture by reinforcing GMPs, safety practices, and plant procedures
Work Environment
Fast-paced, high-volume food production environment with routine exposure to cold conditions
Majority of time spent on the production floor performing inspections and monitoring processes
Requires use of PPE and adherence to strict food safety and safety protocols
Physically active role requiring standing, walking, and attention to detail

Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector
Food Service or Culinary Specialist with sanitation and safety experience
Preventive Medicine, Public Health, or Environmental Health roles
CBRN / Chemical Operations Specialist
Safety, risk management, or compliance-focused roles
Training or standardization instructors responsible for enforcing procedures

Army: 92G (Culinary Specialist), 68S (Preventive Medicine Specialist), 74D (CBRN Specialist), 91 Series (Maintenance inspectors), 12 Series (Engineering - inspections/compliance)
Air Force: 4D0X1 (Diet Therapy/Food Safety), 4E0X1 (Public Health), 3E0X1 (Electrical/Systems - inspections), 2A Career Fields (maintenance QA environments)
Navy: CS (Culinary Specialist), HM (Preventive Medicine Tech), EM/MM (maintenance and inspections), LS (logistics with inspection processes)
Marine Corps: 3381 (Food Service Specialist), 6842 (METOC/Environmental), 5711 (CBRN Defense), maintenance and QA-related MOS fields
Coast Guard: FS (Food Service Specialist), HS (Health Services Technician), MK/EM (engineering roles with inspection responsibilities)
Requirements (Must Haves)
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in quality, inspection, production, safety, or military service
Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in cold environments and standing for extended periods
Basic math, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow strict procedures, safety rules, and regulatory requirements
Compensation Range: $18.00-$32.00
