Food Service Attendants provide excellent customer service by providing on time meal service, monitoring product inventories, kitchen cleanliness, and other program requirements for infant to 3yr students.
Knowledge / skill requirements
High School Diploma/GED required
Knowledge of food service and sanitation; or willing to acquire said knowledge
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
Must be a team player
Capable of following written and verbal instructions
Must have a passion for working with children
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Must be able to stand for a prolonged period of time
Must pass a Federal Background Check
Responsibilities:
- Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
Organize and count inventory
Prep and set up for food service
May include chopping, slicing, and dicing of food items.
Serving food in accordance with strict serving sizes.
Complete cleaning tasks based on daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule
Daily tasks include:
Wiping walls by the tilt skillets
Clean sink & backsplash
Sweep and mop (when applicable) kitchen and common area floors (Main Office, Conference Room, etc.)
Wipe down ovens
Check bathrooms and restock as needed
Ensure all trash cans are emptied and bags replaced.
Clean and sanitize dishes between meal service
