Full Time Variable Shift

Summary

Responsible for patient meal tray set up, production of cold food items, snacks and meal delivery for patient meals, late trays, and sanitation of designated areas. Providing great customer service. Cashiering, stocking and money handling for Café.

Qualifications

Required:

• One-year (1) prior public contact experience.

Preferred:

• Serve Safe Certification.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• One-year (1) prior food service and public contact experience.

Essential Functions

• Prepares and delivers food trays to hospital patients according to specified schedule.

• Prepare and deliver late trays and hospitality carts.

• Accurate meal service setup, garnishing and attractively arranging food.

• Complete cold food production prior to the next meal service. Including stocking of cold production area, refrigerators, and supplement area.

• Supports performance improvement and quality monitoring. Is active in performance improvement activities related to customer service.

• Supports production and service of both patient tray line and Cafeteria.

• Collects dirty trays from patient floors and returns to kitchen.

• Perform cashiering, stocking, and other responsibilities in Cafeteria. Displays a customer comes first attitude. Seeks customer input. Empathizes with customers and proactively seeks resolution to their concerns.

• Maintains temperature logs of cold foods served on Patient Tray line and cafeteria. Corrects temperature problems if not found adequate.

• Accomplishes routine and priority tasks. Anticipates projects and seeks out other department members for direction to assure project runs smoothly.

• Comply with standards of sanitation and safety and HAACP regulatory guidelines in kitchen and cafeteria.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.
