Waldorf University is seeking interested candidates a Full and Part-time Food Service Workers.

On average full-time needs are 35-40hrs per week during the academic year and as scheduled or needed during University breaks and throughout the summer for catering events or conferences.

Part-time hours are available during meal service and catering events. Positions/work available includes areas production cook or preparation, dishwashing, dining room upkeep, cleaning, stocking and catering service.

Ideal candidates will be motivated and eager to work and appreciate the service industry. Will need to be flexible in both schedules and working with a variety of people.

Position Requirements

  • Positions will/may vary in hours. Specifically in need of an evening and weekends staff members.
  • All positions will include evening and weekend required hours to meet needs of the University and events.
  • Hours scheduled by semester and will vary during scheduled breaks
  • Ability to work well with a team and be able to direct student workers as needed
  • Experience preferred, however will train
  • Efficient and safe work habits observing sanitation and proper food service rules and regulations
  • Lifting up to 50lbs unassisted required
  • Standing, bending, lifting and twisting
  • Customer service mentality

Specific needs:

  • Dining Hall; Su-Th 12:00PM-Close (7:30 - 8:30) or W-Su 12:00 - Close.
