We’re bringing the fun outside of Austin with an El Arroyo Food Truck location opening Memorial Day Weekend in Gruene, Texas, nestled in the main hub of Rockin’ R River Rides right on the Guadalupe River. This exciting new location will bring El Arroyo’s signature Tex-Mex, cold drinks, and good vibes to one of Texas’ favorite river destinations.

Are you passionate about cooking in a fast-paced environment? Do you thrive in a bustling kitchen setting?

Join our team as a Food Truck Cook where you will be prepping food items, making orders in a busy Tex-Mex food truck, and performing opening and closing duties such as cleaning equipment and getting the line ready for service. This is a delicious opportunity for you to enhance your culinary skills and be part of a dynamic team. Learning how to run a BBQ smoker and catering events will also be important. Opportunity to advance to main restaurant El Arroyo, coming soon to Gruene!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with health and safety standards
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate orders
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
• Provide hospitality to our guests

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, Food Handler Certified
• Toast POS and Kitchen Display Systems experience preferred
