Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Ford Transmission Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with transmission systems, diagnostics, and repairs. As a Ford Certified Transmission Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing transmissions in Ford vehicles, ensuring the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Ford transmission systems.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections of transmissions to catch faults before they become major problems.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Ford training and implement best practices in diagnostics and repair.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates on vehicle status.
- Maintain detailed repair records and parts usage for each vehicle serviced.
Requirements:
-Minimum Requirement- 3 years Ford Certified Transmission Technician
- Proven experience as an automotive technician specializing in transmission repairs, preferably with Ford vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of automotive transmission systems and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
