Foreclosure Paralegal

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. We currently have a Foreclosure Paralegalopportunity available with a Financial Services Company in Dallas, Texas. Our client is a leading provider of technology-enabled default management and bankruptcy processing solutions, superior work environment and advancement opportunities.

The Foreclosure Paralegal will be responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to prepare legal documents and process transactions.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of all entered data against source documents to ensure total accuracy in legal proceedings.
• Review and interpret key documentation, including recorded Deeds of Trust, property titles, court dockets, and pleadings.
• Prepare, mail, and file required legal documents—such as Notices of Acceleration, Notices of Application for Foreclosure, Motions, and Orders—in the appropriate courts.
• Interface with court personnel regarding file status, hearing scheduling, and order entry.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and escalate complex issues to attorneys as needed.
• Ensure all required notices, motions, and pleadings are audited, mailed, filed, or recorded in strict compliance with client, investor, state, and regulatory guidelines.
• Escalate legal processing issues promptly to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond to escalated inquiries from clients, debtors, debtors' attorneys, vendors, and staff regarding default processes.
• Update client systems with documents, status milestones, and notes in accordance with client service-level standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of foreclosure experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Hands-on experience working in mortgage servicing systems such as Black Knight (BKFS) and MSP.
• Prior mortgage servicing or default legal experience preferred.
• Paralegal certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Prior experience with CaseAware, BKFS LoanSphere Default, and Sagent Tempo strongly preferred.

Pay Rate Range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
