Title- Forklift Driver

Location- Rushville, IN, USA ,46173

Duration- 5 months contract

Flexibility for all shifts

Shifts: There are 2 openings for 1st shift and 2 openings for 2nd shift

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (2 positions)
• 2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (2 positions)
• 3rd shift: 10:00PM - 6:30AM _ Must be flexible for this

Days off:

• Week 1: Saturday/Sunday off
• Week 2: 2 assigned weekdays off
• Week 3: Saturday/Sunday off
• Week 4: 2 assigned weekdays off
• Packaging operations will move to a 24/7 schedule starting 10/25/26.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Professional, accident-free operation of the forklift, and the precise keeping of the forklift inspections.
• Systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift
• Continuous tracking of the location of goods during material handling using WMS.
• Use the WMSystem accordingly and ensure accurate data entry.
• Perform any other manual job at the direction of the warehouse supervisor or team lead (e.g. sampling, inventory, cleaning)
• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy
• During the seed delivery and return season: ensure proper (loading and unloading) of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations
• Maintain safety standards - initiate & follow emergency procedures when necessary

PREFFERED EXPERIENCE

• 1 year of forklift experience
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Prior forklift certification is preferred

SKILLS

• Ability to count accurately when moving inventory
• Ability to read scales
• Ability to multi-task and detailed oriented
• Being alert and aware when driving the forklift in a safe manner
• Ability to communicate and work by yourself or with a team
• Ability to work in tighter, confined spaces with a forklift

QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings
• Have reliable transportation to the site and be able to arrive at the work site as instructed.
• Maintain enthusiasm, good attitude, honesty and a willingness to treat all with respect
• Operates fork lift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse area.
• Follows regulatory requirements.
• May require certification.
• May use technology (PCs, scanners, etc.) to complete job tasks.
• Any exposure to common allergens? Dust; Corn Dust
• Over the ankle steel toe or composite toe boots
• Incentive: Eligible for monthly attendance bonus
