Position Overview

Job Specifications

• Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Receive materials from suppliers and production, verifying the accuracy of packing lists against Purchase Orders using SAP purchasing screens or "Boxing reports."
  • Count, sort, and store materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins in accordance with SAP inventory screens.
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and tools, distributing items to production areas as needed on the second shift.
  • Record quantities of materials received or distributed using Material Requisitions, Receiving Tickets, and sample forms.
  • Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including fork trucks and electronic counting/weighing scales.
• Skills & Experience:
  • Forklift and inventory experience is required; 1 2 years of warehouse experience is desired.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with email and SAP systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and handle 12-foot-long crates using a forklift.
• Background Screening & Compliance:
  • First Advantage Package: Non-Exempt/Hourly Package + Supplier-run Drug Screen (or Non-Exempt/Hourly with Drug Package).
  • Education Verification (can be verified by the supplier or using an a la carte screen).
