Position Overview

SourceNow is hiring Forklift & Receiving Associates for busy warehouse and manufacturing operations in the Hickory and Lenoir area.

This position combines forklift operation, receiving, material handling, and general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely to move and stage materials
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and materials
• Load and unload trucks
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies
• Organize and stage materials throughout the warehouse
• Move product and raw materials to designated production or storage areas
• Maintain accurate receiving and inventory records
• Use RF scanners or computer systems as required
• Assist with picking, packing, and general warehouse duties
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience required
• Previous warehouse, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to safely lift and move materials
• Basic computer or RF scanner skills
• Strong attention to detail when receiving and verifying materials
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be safety-conscious and able to follow established procedures

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the workday
• Ability to work around forklifts, warehouse equipment, and varying temperatures depending on facility
• Must be able to wear required PPE
