Job Title: Forklift Driver I 2nd Shift
Location: 1518 Main Street, Altavista, VA 24517
Shift: Monday Friday, 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.99/hr
Duration :- 10-12 months
Position Summary
Operates gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets to support loading and moving of materials within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks with lifting devices
Load, unload, stage, and move materials safely and efficiently
Perform daily equipment inspections and routine safety checks
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all site safety procedures
Report equipment damage, incidents, or near misses promptly
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
0 1 year previous forklift / industrial truck experience
Forklift certification preferred
Ability to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM 11:30 PM)
