Forklift Operator - Industrial Construction (Micron Project) Location: Boise, Idaho Project: Micron Semiconductor Facility Employer: Penington Painting Company (PPC) Penington Painting Company is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to support ongoing work at the Micron Project in Idaho. This is a union position dispatched through IUPAT DC5. Position Overview The Forklift Operator will safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment in an active industrial construction environment, supporting painting, coatings, and specialty trade crews. Key Responsibilities - Operate forklifts to move materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the jobsite
- Load and unload deliveries in designated areas
- Support crews with staging materials for industrial and specialty coating operations
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns
- Follow all Project site rules, OSHA regulations, and PPC safety policies
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Qualifications - Valid forklift certification required
- Previous experience operating forklifts in construction or industrial environments preferred
- Experience on large-scale industrial projects is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment
- Must be able to pass site-specific requirements, orientations, and screenings
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required

Work Environment - Industrial / construction setting
- May involve working around coatings, equipment, and active trades
- Current schedule is night shift with possible weekend work. Must be comfortable working extended hours and overtime as required by the project schedule
