Forklift Driver - Temp to Hire

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is looking for a Temp to Full-Time Forklift Driver & Fulfillment Team Member. Working as part of our team, under the guidance and supervision of the Fulfillment Manager, this position will be responsible for picking orders, stocking retail and wine inventory, & pricing retail items. The Fulfillment Team Member may also assist in duties including but limited moving stock around manually and perform general warehouse housekeeping duties.

Also, as a Forklift Driver, this person must be internally certified to operate power equipment including forklift, wave, stacker etc. Tasks will include operating power equipment to slotting and removing palletized cargo in and out of racking at heights up to 40’. Loading and unloading palletized cargo in and out of trailers or through-out warehouse. Operating lift to heights over 24’.

Compensation: $22-24/hour

What You’ll Do: 

• Sort and deliver inter-office packages.
• • Inspect, count, price & put away retail inventory
• On-Line Order Fulfillment
• • Processing orders in a timely manner
  • Emailing guests with tracking information
• Store Order Fulfillment
• • Accurate picking and packing of store orders. 
• Operation of power equipment, including forklift, wave and stacker
• • Slotting and removing palletized cargo
  • Loading and unloading palletized cargo.
• General Duties, as assigned 

What You’ll Need: 

• Be internally certified as a power equipment operator or willing to get certified.
• Proficiency in placing and pulling pallets from racking up to 40’ high or willingness to learn.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more on a regular basis 
• Must be able to stand on your feet for an 8-hour shift 
• Must be available between the hours of 7am and 3:30pm 
• Ability to multi-task 
• Ability to prioritize projects
