REACH TRUCK FORKLIFT OPERATOR — CONTRACT-TO-HIRE
Location: Fountain Inn, SC
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $19.00–$20.50/hour depending on shift
We are hiring experienced Reach Truck Forklift Operators for a fast-paced automotive logistics and warehouse environment in Fountain Inn, SC.
This is a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE opportunity. Qualified employees may have the opportunity to transition to a permanent position based on attendance, performance, safety, productivity, and business needs.
SHIFT PAY:
• 1st Shift — $19.00/hour
• 2nd Shift — $20.50/hour
• 3rd Shift — $19.75/hour
• 4th Shift — $20.00/hour
• 5th Shift — $20.25/hour
MANDATORY REACH TRUCK EXPERIENCE:
• MUST have hands-on Reach Truck experience within the last 6 MONTHS.
• Reach Truck experience must be recent and verifiable.
• Candidates without Reach Truck experience within the past 6 months will NOT be considered.
• General forklift experience alone does not meet this requirement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Safely operate a Reach Truck and other material-handling equipment
• Move, stage, load, and unload materials throughout the facility
• Transport and organize materials and automotive components
• Safely place and retrieve materials from warehouse locations
• Perform equipment inspections before operating
• Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines
• Maintain accurate material movement
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet productivity and quality expectations
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Recent Reach Truck experience within the last 6 months — REQUIRED
• Ability to safely operate a Reach Truck in a warehouse environment
• Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or automotive experience
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work the assigned shift
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required
• Ability to bend, reach, and maneuver around equipment and materials
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift

Reliable attendance is essential for this position. Candidates must consistently report to work on time, follow all safety and workplace policies, and maintain acceptable performance and productivity standards.
CONTRACT-TO-HIRE OPPORTUNITY:
This position begins as a contract assignment with the opportunity to become permanent based on individual performance, attendance, safety, productivity, and business needs. Contract-to-hire does not guarantee permanent employment.
