This full-time role offers 12-hour shifts from 6AM–6PM or 6PM–6AM on a 2/2/3 schedule—meaning you work only 7 out of every 14 days and enjoy a three-day weekend every other week. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Safely inspect, unload, and put away the raw and finished products from inbound trailers and containers via lift truck.
- Meet customer service, safety, and productivity expectations on the shipment and receipt of products.
- Utilize all material handling technology to maximize efficiency and maintain accurate inventory.
- Ensure all safety and position standard operating procedures are followed.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills to ensure accurate counts and paperwork.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time through hot and cold temperatures.
- Ability to repetitively twist or turn to drive in reverse; stand, climb, kneel, stoop, and squat, as needed.
- Ability to turn the steering wheel on lift truck requiring full rotation of arms and shoulders.
- Must be willing and able to safely lift, slide, push or pull product weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Lift truck experience; loading and unloading trailers, containers and railcars is a plus.
- Experience working in warehouse environment is a plus.
- Experience operating lift truck attachments such as forks, carton clamp, roll grab and pulp clamp.
- Experience operating a sit-down lift.
