This full-time role offers 12-hour shifts from 6AM–6PM or 6PM–6AM on a 2/2/3 schedule—meaning you work only 7 out of every 14 days and enjoy a three-day weekend every other week. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Safely inspect, unload, and put away the raw and finished products from inbound trailers and containers via lift truck.
  • Meet customer service, safety, and productivity expectations on the shipment and receipt of products.
  • Utilize all material handling technology to maximize efficiency and maintain accurate inventory.
  • Ensure all safety and position standard operating procedures are followed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills to ensure accurate counts and paperwork.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time through hot and cold temperatures.
  • Ability to repetitively twist or turn to drive in reverse; stand, climb, kneel, stoop, and squat, as needed.
  • Ability to turn the steering wheel on lift truck requiring full rotation of arms and shoulders.
  • Must be willing and able to safely lift, slide, push or pull product weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Lift truck experience; loading and unloading trailers, containers and railcars is a plus.
  • Experience working in warehouse environment is a plus.
  • Experience operating lift truck attachments such as forks, carton clamp, roll grab and pulp clamp.
  • Experience operating a sit-down lift.
