Forklift Operator - Retail Production Department

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable forklift operator to support the retail production department at a leading corrugated packaging company. In this role, you will safely operate sit-down propane forklifts to transport finished goods, replenish production lines, and organize staging areas to ensure smooth workflow, safety, and quality standards. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments who are committed to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Hyster propane sit-down forklifts to transport pallets of finished products to designated staging areas
• Replenish production lines to maintain continuous workflow and meet daily production goals
• Carefully pyramid stack finished pallets to optimize space and ensure product integrity
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials up to 20 lbs+
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free staging areas to promote safety
• Collaborate with team members to support department success and uphold quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience, preferably with sit-down propane forklifts
• Certified forklift operator with certifications reflecting Tier 5 or equivalent, including forklift licenses for propane forklifts operating with weights over 20 lbs
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and material handling up to 20 lbs+
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Positive team attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with forklift clamps

Tools / Equipment / Systems

• Hyster propane sit-down forklift

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 20 lbs+

Additional Information

Overtime may be required. Candidates should dress in warehouse attire, including closed-toe shoes. Ripped clothing or leggings are not permitted.
