About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to support warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing operations. Your primary focus will be on safely handling materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting shipping and receiving duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
• Move materials, pallets, and products to designated storage, staging, or production areas.
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment according to company procedures.
• Inspect forklifts prior to each shift and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate inventory by scanning, labeling, and documenting material movements.
• Stack and organize pallets safely to optimize warehouse space.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies while operating equipment.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory counts, and general warehouse duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Work closely with warehouse and production teams to meet daily productivity and shipping goals.
• Frequently operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• May work indoors or outdoors in varying temperatures.

Required Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Valid forklift certification preferred or required depending on employer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift - Sit Down certification.
• Experience working in warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and material handling best practices.
