Job Description:

Partners Personnel is seeking a reliable and experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator for an Import/Export company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in operating a sit-down forklift, hold a valid forklift certification, and have the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse and shipping areas.
• Perform inventory management tasks, including counting and scanning materials as they are moved throughout the warehouse.
• Ensure goods are properly stored in designated locations, ensuring they are secure and organized.
• Inspect the forklift daily to ensure it is in good working condition; report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Assist in the preparation of shipments, ensuring that all products are ready and in good condition for export.
• Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving of goods.
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Must hold a valid forklift certification.
• Ability to lift heavy items, sometimes up to 50 pounds or more.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse operations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the import/export industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and scanning systems.
